M Connect CLARA C1 USB-A To USB-B Cable
DM CONNECT CLARA C1 USB CABLE JOINS CARBON BLACK SERIES
DM Connect has released the CLARA C1 USB-A to USB-B cable as part of its Carbon Black Series.
The new cable is designed to offer consistent digital signal performance, with a manufacturing approach that prioritises precision and build quality.
DM CONNECT CLARA C1 USB CABLE
Production of the DM connect CLARA C1 USB cable involves a detailed shaping process, with each end undergoing more than six cuts and eight minutes of processing per side. The result is a total of twelve cut sides per connector, aimed at achieving uniformity and accuracy across all units.

LASER TERMINATION USED FOR CONNECTOR PRECISION
Laser termination is employed in the final stage of the USB cable assembly. This method allows for the precision required to support high-speed data transmission, with the cable rated for transfer rates of up to 10 gigabits per second.
STRUCTURAL AND ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The CLARA C1 USB cable is rated for 30 volts and can operate in environments up to 80°C. It includes 30AWG and 24AWG conductors, with resistance values of 381Ω/KM and 94.2Ω/KM respectively. Insulation resistance is specified at a minimum of 100MΩ·KM at 20°C, with dielectric strength tested at AC 500V for one minute. Differential impedance is rated at 90±7Ω.
DURABILITY TESTED UNDER REPEATED STRESS
Mechanical performance includes a bending test under a 300g load, swinging ±60° with a radius of 25.4mm at 30 cycles per minute, for a total of 3,000 cycles. These tests are designed to confirm cable resilience under typical usage conditions.
CLARA C1 USB BUILT TO ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS
The cable complies with RoHS and REACH environmental regulations, indicating that its materials and production processes meet EU standards for safety and sustainability.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
The DM Connect CLARA C1 USB-A to USB-B cable is available in a 0.75-metre length and is priced at £218.
