DIPTYQUE AUDIO ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIPS WITH TOULOUSE INSTITUTIONS
French HiFi manufacturer Diptyque Audio has entered into a collaboration with the ONERA Aerospace Acoustics Laboratory and Orchestre National du Capitole in Toulouse.
DIPTYQUE AUDIO AND ONERA AEROSPACE ACOUSTICS LABORATORY
The research programme with the ONERA Aerospace Acoustics Laboratory focuses on the study of plane wave propagation, with the aim of further understanding the physical characteristics of the company’s isodynamic dipole loudspeaker technology.
The partnership will use advanced measurement and modelling tools, including laser vibrometers and dedicated software, to investigate the way sound behaves in relation to Diptyque Audio’s designs. This research is intended to identify potential avenues for optimising performance in future loudspeaker development.

DIPTYQUE AUDIO AND ORCHESTRE NATIONAL DU CAPITOLE
Alongside the aerospace research, Diptyque Audio has also partnered with the Orchestre National du Capitole in Toulouse. The collaboration involves practical experimentation with the use of Diptyque Audio loudspeakers in live performance environments.
FIRST LIVE INSTALLATION WITH DIPTYQUE AUDIO SPEAKERS
The first project under this partnership took place during a ballet performance at the Cloître des Jacobins in Toulouse. Diptyque Audio loudspeakers were used to provide reinforcement for the event, in collaboration with the orchestra’s sound engineers.
FUTURE WORK BETWEEN DIPTYQUE AUDIO AND TOULOUSE PARTNERS
Both collaborations mark the beginning of ongoing projects. The work with ONERA is expected to support continued technical innovation in loudspeaker design, while the collaboration with the Orchestre National du Capitole will explore how Diptyque Audio loudspeakers can be applied in artistic and concert contexts.
HiFi PiG Says: Great to see these fabulous collaborations from Diptyque.
