CYRUS AUDIO 80 SERIES LAUNCHED AT HIGH END MUNICH 2025
British HiFi Brand Cyrus expands with first full-width HiFi components, the Cyrus Audio 80 Series.
Cyrus Audio, the Cambridgeshire-based HiFi manufacturer known for its compact form factor designs, has announced its new Cyrus Audio 80 Series, marking the company’s first full-width range of components.
Revealed at last weekend’s High End Munich 2025 show, the 80 Series builds on the groundwork of the 40 Series introduced in 2024, offering new options for listeners looking for a traditional full-width HiFi aesthetic.

CYRUS AUDIO 80 SERIES
The Cyrus Audio 80 Series is a response to long-standing market demand for full-size components. While the company remains committed to its half-width heritage, the 80 Series provides an alternative for those seeking a more conventional form factor. This evolution comes without abandoning the minimalist design cues introduced in the 40 Series—both ranges share visual continuity, allowing for seamless integration within the same system.
CYRUS AUDIO 80 AMP: INTEGRATED STREAMING AMPLIFIER
Leading the new lineup is the Cyrus Audio 80 AMP, a class A/B integrated amplifier delivering 150W per channel. It incorporates the BluOS streaming platform, bringing network streaming capabilities to the forefront of the unit’s feature set. This all-in-one approach enables high-performance audio playback from a single box solution.
CYRUS AUDIO 80 PRE AND 80 PWR COMPLETE THE LINEUP
Complementing the 80 AMP are two separates: the 80 PRE and 80 PWR. The 80 PRE is a full-function preamplifier, also featuring BluOS integration, ideal for listeners building a more modular system. The 80 PWR is a 200W per channel class A/B power amplifier, with the option to operate in bridged mono mode, offering up to 300W of output. These models allow for flexible system building and performance upgrades.
SHARED DNA WITH THE 40 SERIES
Although the Cyrus Audio 80 Series introduces a larger chassis, the products are designed to match the 40 Series both visually and technically. For existing owners of 40 Series products—such as the 40 CD and 40 PPA—this means expanded options without starting from scratch. This deliberate continuity allows users to mix and match across the two ranges without compromising on system synergy.

INTERNAL POWER SUPPLIES BENEFIT FROM LARGER CHASSIS
One of the key engineering advantages of the new form factor is the ability to incorporate larger and more robust internal power supplies. Previously, Cyrus users would often rely on external PSUs to achieve optimal performance. With the 80 Series, many of these benefits are now built-in, streamlining setup and reducing the need for add-ons.
CYRUS AUDIO 80 SERIES LAUNCH PLANNED FOR NOVEMBER 2025
The Cyrus Audio 80 Series is scheduled for release in November 2025. Pricing is expected to range between £5,000 and £6,000 per component, visitors to the upcoming North West Audio Show 2025 at Cranage Hall, near Manchester, will be able to check out the new Amp 80 in prototype form at the show.
HiFi PiG Says: These are a fab looking new range from Cyrus and we can’t wait to hear the Cyrus Audio 80 Series very soon!
