CLARITY HOSTS WOMEN IN HIFI DISCUSSION AND NETWORKING EVENT AT KEF MUSIC GALLERY
HiFi PiG has long championed Women in HiFi, organising gatherings at international shows, including High End Munich.
This year’s Munich event also featured a dedicated Women In HiFi X-Pert Panel, chaired by Angela Cardas and featuring Lin from HiFi PiG, Amelia Santos of Innuos, Jenny Jose of Bass N Treble and Daniela Manger, highlighting the importance of representation in the industry. Continuing this conversation, Clarity, the UK HiFi industry trade association, is now hosting a Women In HiFi event in London this November.
CLARITY WOMEN IN HIFI NETWORKING EVENT
The Women In HiFi gathering will be held on Thursday 6th November at the KEF Music Gallery, London. Open to women working across the HiFi sector, the event also welcomes men, with the aim of creating a space for open discussion and networking.
A central part of the day will be a panel discussion addressing whether women are under-represented in HiFi and exploring what can be done to encourage wider participation. The session is designed to bring together perspectives from across the industry and to foster ideas for positive change.
The event begins with welcome drinks at 12.00 pm, followed by an introduction from Elizabeth Gould, chairman of Clarity. From 12.45 pm attendees will be able to tour the KEF facility and network, with the main panel discussion starting at 2.00 pm. The official close is scheduled for 3.30 pm, though the organisers note that conversations may well continue beyond this time.
KEF MUSIC GALLERY EXPERIENCE
Alongside the discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of the KEF Music Gallery. This 5,000-square-foot flagship venue in the heart of London includes immersive cinema facilities and two-channel listening rooms. The space has become a key location for music demonstrations and collaborations.
Networking will be a key part of the Women In HiFi event, giving attendees a chance to meet colleagues, share experiences, and build connections across different areas of the HiFi industry. Drinks and light snacks will be provided throughout the day.
