CHORD ELECTRONICS SUZI PRE AND SUZI AMP TO MAKE UK DEBUT AT NORTH WEST AUDIO SHOW 2025

Chord Electronics will debut its latest compact pre/power amplifier pairing, the Suzi Pre and Suzi Amp, at North West Audio Show 2025.

Marking their first official UK demonstration, the event offers a rare opportunity for British HiFi enthusiasts to experience the brand’s ULTIMA-technology in action following the global launch earlier this month. The showcase takes place at Cranage Hall, the well-known venue for NWAS 2025.

CHORD ELECTRONICS SUZI AMP FEATURES ADVANCED ULTIMA TECHNOLOGY

The Suzi Amp is the first Chord Electronics model to include the new high-power vertical-gate-structure MOSFETs, a development that underpins the ULTIMA topology. These next-generation transistors promise improved performance, efficiency, and control, key qualities for audiophiles looking for clarity and musical precision. First unveiled at High End Munich 2024, the Suzi Amp’s UK introduction will allow direct comparison with the brand’s established full-size ULTIMA series.

CHORD ELECTRONICS SUZI PRE OFFERS FLEXIBLE ANALOGUE AND DIGITAL INTEGRATION

Designed to complement the power amp, the Suzi Pre features both moving magnet and moving coil phono stages, along with a dedicated headphone output. Its compact form factor does not limit its capabilities—when paired with Chord’s Hugo 2 DAC, the Suzi combination becomes a powerful DAC/amp. Alternatively, adding the 2go streamer enables full streaming functionality, including Roon Endpoint support and up to 2TB of MicroSD card storage.

QUTEST DAC AND HUEI PHONO STAGE ALSO ON DEMONSTRATION

Alongside the Suzi series, Chord Electronics will also demonstrate two components from its Qutest range: the acclaimed Qutest DAC and its analogue counterpart, the Huei phono stage. Known for their compact size and class-leading performance, these units offer high-end digital and vinyl playback for listeners seeking to build flexible, space-saving systems.

SYSTEM COMPLETED WITH SUPPORT FROM INNUOS, REGA AND KERR ACOUSTICS

Supporting the Chord Electronics components will be sources from Innuos and Rega, as well as loudspeakers provided by Kerr Acoustics. The system has been curated to highlight the sonic strengths of the new Suzi units and will be available for listening throughout the weekend.
