Chord Company has upgraded Chord Shawline HDMI cable to 48 Gbps performance, giving faster transfer rates from advanced HDMI chipsets.

Chord Co told us that the new Shawline HDMI AOC 21 (Active Optical Cable) uses a high-quality True HDMI chipset at both ends, plus the highest OM3-grade glass fibres. In addition to full 4/8K HDR picture quality, the premium high-speed Shawline HDMI AOC 21 benefits from the improved audio performance of optical fibre, and is, says the British Brand, “immune to HF noise”.

Shawline HDMI AOC 21 is Chord Company’s second-highest-performance HDMI cable and is an optical/copper hybrid with extensive high-frequency noise protection. The copper elements have been upgraded for improved mechanical isolation, but the most noticeable difference is the advanced HDMI chipsets.

4K AND 8K

Chord Shawline HDMI AOC 21 is capable of full 8K performance at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz, providing peace of mind for upcoming 8K content. Available in 1 m, 2 m, 3 m, 5 m, 8m, 10 m, 15 m and 20 m standard lengths. Custom lengths of up to 50 m are available by special order.
