Fontaines D.C. have added a further four live dates to their quickly selling-out 2021 UK tour. Earlier this week the band played new album A Hero’s Death live in full for the first time online to a watching audience that topped 4000.

The expansive instrumental album opener is an ruminative and wistful listen. Combining harmonious piano and strings with a tempestuous brass section and subtle woodwind and electronic elements, it’s a dynamically complex and incredibly poignant introduction to the new album.
