Fontaines D.C. have added a further four live dates to their quickly selling-out 2021 UK tour. Earlier this week the band played new album A Hero’s Death live in full for the first time online to a watching audience that topped 4000.
Alongside the announcement, he has also shared a video for the first single to be taken from the record, ‘Wholeness and the Implicate Order‘. The expansive instrumental album opener is an ruminative and wistful listen. Combining harmonious piano and strings with a tempestuous brass section and subtle woodwind and electronic elements, it’s a dynamically complex and incredibly poignant introduction to the new album.
