BonySound is a high-end Spanish HiFi brand created by electronic engineer, Maximino Lopez.
The name relates to the bones of the human ear and how we hear sound.
DUALBOX ENCLOSURE
BonySound has developed a DualBox enclosure system for the cabinets of their speakers, to eliminate unwanted resonances.
BONYSOUND JAZZ 2022 LOUDSPEAKERS
The new bonySound Jazz 2022 is a high-end floor-standing loudspeaker made entirely of birch plywood in a two-way bass-reflex configuration. Featuring bonySound’s DualBox enclosure system, the loudspeaker is manufactured in two ranges, standard or Diamond. The difference between the two is in the characteristics of the Accuton tweeters and their associated electronics, with the same quality of finishes and materials in both.
ACCUTON DIAMOND TWEETERS
The bonySound Jazz 2022 Diamond model uses 1.2 ”Accuton Diamond Tweeters (inverted dome with neodymium magnet) for improved definition and maximum linear frequency up to 33kHz. In the standard version, this is the Accuton 1,2” ceramic inverted dome with neodymium magnet. Both versions use an Accuton 7” Grey Ceramic dome for mid and bass.
An amplifier of 120 to 200 watts is recommended to drive the speakers. Their nominal impedance is 8 ohms and their sensitivity is 86dB. Frequency response (@ -6 dB) is 35 Hz – 33 kHz linear for the Diamond version and 35 Hz – 25 kHz linear for the standard.
The bonySound Jazz 2022 crossover features silver electronic components from the Mundorf CFC and Mundorf Silver Supreme Series.
The dimensions of the Jazz 2022 are 108cm x 40cm x 45cm and they weigh 42kg each.

The speakers are available in a variety of true wood, black and white high gloss finishes, price per pair (in Spain) 13,550€ for the Diamond and 8,990€ for the standard.
