BONAWATT TRITON AND TAMESIS AMPLIFIERS MAKE UK DEBUT
Polish HiFi brand BonaWatt has arrived in the UK with two distinctive integrated amplifiers: the BonaWatt Triton and the Tamesis.
The Triton is a hybrid design pairing a valve preamplifier with a 250W Class D output stage. It features two modular expansion slots, allowing users to customise their setup with optional DACs, MM/MC phono stages, wireless audio modules, or additional inputs—developed in collaboration with Polish firm MuzgAUDIO.
DISCOVERED AT WARSAW AUDIO VIDEO SHOW
We first came across BonaWatt at the Warsaw Audio Video Show, where their understated but beautifully built amplifiers and strong sonic performance stood out. The young HiFi brand exhibited at High End Munich 2025 and has now found a UK distributor, Feel Flows, to bring them to the British market.

BONAWATT TAMESIS AMPLIFIER
The BonaWatt Tamesis is a Class A, single-ended ultralinear integrated valve amplifier. Built around KT77 output valves, it delivers 11.5W per channel into both 8 and 4 ohms, making it well-suited to high-sensitivity loudspeakers and intimate listening spaces.
Using a classic configuration with two KT77 output valves and two 6SL7GTs, the Tamesis runs in a single-ended ultralinear mode with Parabolic Power Bias. The amp is specified for 11.5W per channel, offering a broad frequency response of 6Hz to 40kHz (-3dB) and a THD of less than 2.8% at 1kHz. Like the Triton, volume control is via the same stepped attenuator design, and build quality is reassuringly solid at 27kg.
BONAWATT TRITON AMPLIFIER
The Triton delivers 2x 250W into 8 ohms, scaling up to 2x 750W into 2.7 ohms, and is built around a dual 6SL7GT and VR150 valve preamp stage. Signal control is handled by a precision 128-step resistor ladder volume control, using manually matched military-spec resistors and Japanese silver-contact relays. Three RCA inputs come as standard, with expansion slots allowing for extensive customisation. Signal-to-noise ratio is rated at 92dB, and output impedance is just 15 milliohms.
MADE IN POLAND
Both amplifiers are built in Poland, with a clean industrial aesthetic available in black, silver, or gold finishes. Remote control is standard, covering volume, input selection, mute, and dimming. Despite their valve core, both amplifiers include modern touches such as standby modes with <1W draw, and remote trigger outputs for integration into wider systems.

BONAWATT PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
