BANG & OLUFSEN BEOLAB 90 MONARCH AND ZENITH EDITIONS COMPLETE ATELIER SERIES
Bang & Olufsen has introduced the Beolab 90 Monarch Edition and Beolab 90 Zenith Edition, marking the final releases in its five-part Atelier centenary series.
These editions follow the previously announced Shadow, Mirage and Titan variants, each offering a distinct design interpretation of the company’s flagship loudspeaker while retaining its established acoustic platform.
BANG & OLUFSEN BEOLAB 90 MONARCH EDITION
The Beolab 90 Monarch Edition focuses on the use of rosewood and aluminium to create a layered exterior structure. Angled rosewood lamellas wrap around the cabinet, forming a continuous pattern that extends from top to base. These are joined by six visible wooden connection points, including a front detail incorporating a light-through-wood element.

A solid rosewood top ring and matching base panels unify the design, while semi-transparent fabric sections allow partial visibility of the drive units. The contrast between natural wood and coloured aluminium elements is a defining feature of this edition.
BANG & OLUFSEN BEOLAB 90 ZENITH EDITION
The Beolab 90 Zenith Edition takes a different approach, using aluminium spheres and surface finishes to create a reflective exterior. Each speaker features six panels, with 289 anodised aluminium spheres per panel arranged in multiple colour tones.

Additional elements include a pearl-blasted aluminium facemask in a dark grey finish and a circular mother-of-pearl inlay on the top surface. The panels are shaped to follow the speaker’s geometry, integrating decorative and structural elements while maintaining access to the acoustic components behind semi-transparent fabric sections.
BEOLAB 90 MONARCH AND ZENITH EDITIONS TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM
Both editions are based on the existing Beolab 90 platform, which includes 18 drivers and beam-forming technology designed to control sound dispersion. The core acoustic architecture remains unchanged across all Atelier editions, with the focus placed on external materials and finishes rather than internal redesign.
The Monarch and Zenith models complete Bang & Olufsen’s centenary Atelier collection, joining the Shadow, Mirage and Titan editions. Each version is produced in a limited run of ten pairs and is supplied with certification and a matching miniature aluminium speaker model.
