AVID RELVEO TURNTABLE MARKS 30TH ANNIVERSARY WITH NEW DESIGN
The AVID Relveo is first all-new turntable from the British HiFi brand in 12 years.
AVID has announced the release of the Relveo, its first all-new turntable in over a decade.
The launch coincides with the company’s 30th anniversary. Designed and manufactured in Cambridgeshire, England, the Relveo is a ground-up development, intended to reflect AVID’s longstanding focus on mechanical engineering in analogue audio systems.

AVID RELVEO INTRODUCES NEW SUSPENSION SYSTEM
A key design feature of the AVID Relveo is a newly developed conical suspension system. This system is designed to provide isolation from vibration while also simplifying setup. The suspension replaces previous designs used in AVID’s turntables and is part of the company’s ongoing in-house engineering development.
PLATTER AND CHASSIS MACHINED FOR STABILITY
The turntable features a high-mass, precision-machined platter, designed to offer rotational stability and limit resonance. The chassis and components are manufactured using AVID’s CNC machining equipment, with the aim of maintaining tight tolerances and consistent performance.
AVID RELVEO SUPPLIED WITH ALTUS V2 TONEARM
The Relveo is supplied with the Altus V2 tonearm, also made by AVID. This tonearm includes micron-tolerance bearings and a dual adjustable bias compensation system. These elements are derived from AVID’s higher-end tonearm models and have been included to match the Relveo’s design aims. The tonearm is also sold separately and can be removed or substituted depending on user preference.
RELVEO ALSO OFFERED AS BARE TURNTABLE
For users who already own a tonearm, the AVID Relveo is also available in a bare configuration. This allows the turntable to be used with a variety of compatible tonearms. Mounting specifications are standardised to support this flexibility.
AVID RELVEO PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
The AVID Relveo is available now through the company’s international retail network. The complete version with the Altus V2 tonearm is priced at £6,900 / $10,995 / €8,995. The bare turntable is priced at £5,500 / $8,995 / €7,495.
