AVID Ingenium SE Turntable
AVID INGENIUM SE TURNTABLE BUILDS ON THE ORIGINAL PLUG&PLAY DESIGN
UK HiFi brand AVID has announced the new AVID Ingenium SE turntable, replacing the long-running Ingenium Plug&Play model with a revised design that introduces updates to the motor system, power supply and tonearm.
The changes are intended to improve speed stability and reduce noise during playback.

AVID INGENIUM SE TURNTABLE
According to AVID, the Ingenium SE uses a newly developed drive motor derived from the company’s Relveo turntable, paired with a redesigned external power supply.
The new model also retains compatibility with optional upgrades, including AVID’s Metal Platter Upgrade and DSP Power Supply. The upgraded power supply adds electronic speed change and fine speed adjustment.

AVID INGENIUM SE TONEARM REVISIONS
The tonearm fitted to the Ingenium SE has been revised with increased structural rigidity, adjustable bias control and updated internal cabling. AVID says the changes are designed to offer broader cartridge compatibility and improved overall performance.
The company states that customer and retailer feedback gathered during the lifetime of the original Ingenium Plug&Play helped shape the development of the new model.

UK-BUILT VINYL PLAYBACK DESIGN
As with the rest of the AVID range, the Ingenium SE is designed and manufactured in the UK. The turntable is aimed at vinyl listeners looking for a relatively straightforward setup while still offering a future upgrade path through optional hardware additions.
AVID INGENIUM SE PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
AVID says the Ingenium SE will be available worldwide from June 2026.
