AUDIOVECTOR R 10 ARRETÉ SET FOR LAUNCH IN MUNICH

Audiovector will unveil its new flagship loudspeaker, the Audiovector R 10 Arreté, at the upcoming HIGH END Munich 2025 show.

Designed and hand-built in Denmark, the R 10 Arreté represents the culmination of over four decades of research and craftsmanship from the Copenhagen-based brand.

DUAL AMT TWEETER DEFINES THE AUDIOVECTOR R10 ARRETÉ

At the heart of the Audiovector R 10 Arreté is a dual AMT (Air Motion Transformer) tweeter system that incorporates the brand’s Soundstage Enhancement Concept (SEC). This configuration includes a primary AMT tweeter operating from 3,000 Hz to 53,000 Hz and a dedicated hyper tweeter extending the response to 53,000 Hz. While these frequencies surpass human hearing, they contribute to enhanced imaging and an exceptionally refined treble response with micro-detail retrieval.

ADVANCED BASS DESIGN: AUDIOVECTOR R10 ARRETÉ LINE ARRAY SYSTEM

A notable feature is the rear-mounted line array of eight long-throw bass drivers, providing a total diaphragm area comparable to a single 15-inch woofer. This design allows for deep, articulate bass while avoiding the compression effects common to conventional cabinet designs. The drivers offer ±12 mm of linear travel, allowing fast and powerful low-frequency response distributed evenly throughout the room.

ACCELERATED FORCE CONCEPT

The Audiovector R 10 Arreté will also debut the company’s Accelerated Force Concept (AFC), a bass/midrange architecture engineered for precision and speed. The design tightly controls driver movement, resulting in low distortion, fast transient response, and an immediate, physical sense of presence in the sound.

FLEXIBLE CABINET DAMPING

Audiovector has incorporated a bespoke damping mechanism in the R 10 Arreté, aligning cabinet resonance with musical energy release. This results in a calm and controlled presentation across all frequencies, maintaining musicality even during dynamic passages, says Audiovector.

LOWER MIDRANGE CLARITY AND BALANCE

Two front-facing bass/midrange drivers handle the critical lower midrange frequencies, delivering speed and clarity in the region where much of music’s harmonic content and energy resides. Working in concert with the rear bass array, this system produces a vast, immersive soundstage with well-defined imaging and coherent integration across the frequency spectrum.

AUDIOVECTOR R10 ARRETÉ: A FAMILY-LED VISION

According to CEO Mads Klifoth, the R10 Arreté is the result of ten years of close collaboration with his father, Audiovector founder Ole Klifoth. “It’s a culmination, a statement, and a tribute to passion, precision, and family-driven innovation,” says Klifoth. Every element of the speaker—from its high-density wood cabinet to the proprietary drivers—has been developed from scratch to achieve this vision.

The Audiovector R 10 Arreté will be finished to a high standard using select materials. Options include African Mahogany Crotch Piano, Canadian Birdseye Maple Piano, and Italian Walnut Burl Piano. The cabinet will be made from premium-density wood and handcrafted in Denmark to ensure performance consistency and aesthetic appeal.
