AAVIK U-x88 SERIES AND BØRRESEN X2 IN WILANÓW 1

Room Wilanów 1 of the Sobieski will feature the Aavik U-x88 Unity amplifier, an all-in-one design that combines an analogue preamplifier, 600W power amplifier, DAC, and streamer. Known for its precision engineering, the U-188 integrates several of Aavik’s proprietary noise-reduction technologies, including Active Tesla Coils and Dither Circuits, for ultra-low distortion and refined sound control.

Partnering the Aavik system are the Børresen X2 loudspeakers, compact 2.5-way floorstanders equipped with the RP89 ribbon tweeter and dual DCC5 drivers. Finished in high-gloss black or white lacquer, the X2s offer extended frequency response (40Hz–50kHz) and impressive 88dB sensitivity. Cabling throughout comes from the Ansuz Generation 3 A3 series, including the Mainz8 A3 power distributor and PowerSwitch A3.
