HEGEL D50 DAC AND EGGLESTONWORKS KIVA II DEBUT AT NORTH WEST AUDIO SHOW 2025

Auden Distribution, the sponsor of HiFi PiG’s NWAS 2025 coverage, is bringing Hegel, Egglestonworks and more to the show this weekend.

HEGEL D50 DAC TAKES CENTRE STAGE

At this year’s North West Audio Show 2025 (NWAS 2025), visitors can experience the much-anticipated UK debut of the Hegel D50 DAC, also known as ‘The Raven’. Hegel’s new digital-to-analogue converter will be demonstrated in both of the exhibitor’s rooms at De Vere Cranage Estate in Cheshire—specifically in the Bell Suite and Room 121.

HEGEL H600 AND EGGLESTONWORKS KIVA II IN THE BELL SUITE

In the spacious Bell Suite, the Hegel H600 amplifier and the new Hegel D50 DAC will be driving the UK premiere of the EgglestonWorks Kiva II loudspeakers. This marks the first time the Kiva II is shown on British soil. The set-up aims to demonstrate high-end performance without unnecessary complexity, using the H600’s built-in network player for a streamlined experience.

Also making its UK debut in the same room is the EgglestonWorks Andra V, joining a display that features the full EgglestonWorks collection, including the Nico, Emma, Oso, and Viginti models.

ROOM 121: DAC COMPARISON WITH HEGEL D50 DAC

For those wanting a more focused experience, Room 121 offers a revealing system based around the Hegel D50 DAC, paired with the Hegel H400 amplifier and Amphion Argon 3s standmount loudspeakers. Rather than timed demonstrations, the DAC will be switched in and out during the weekend, giving attendees a real-time A/B comparison and a chance to judge the DAC’s sonic impact for themselves.

SUPPORTING COMPONENTS FROM AUDIOMICA AND MUSICWORKS

Both demonstration systems rely on tried-and-tested components from Audiomica and MusicWorks, brands the exhibitor has trusted for over a decade. In the Bell Suite, Audiomica’s Consequence series cables will be in use, while the updated Red Series features in Room 121. MusicWorks provides power management via the Ultra G5 and its range of power cables, as well as AcouPlex isolation products for enhanced energy control and noise reduction.

FULL LINE-UP OF BRANDS ON DISPLAY

The exhibitor’s Bell Suite will host a complete display of brands including Hegel, EgglestonWorks, Amphion (Argon and Krypton ranges), Merason DACs, and Luphonic turntables. This makes it a one-stop destination at Cranage 2025 for anyone interested in exploring Auden’s selection of HiFi Brands firsthand.
