AUDEL INTRODUCES NIKA DESKTOP SYSTEM FOR COMPUTER-BASED LISTENING
Italian loudspeaker manufacturer Audel has introduced the Audel Nika Desktop System, a compact HiFi system designed for use with desktop computers.
The new system is part of the company’s Audel Trend collection, created to deliver high-quality near-field listening for professional and home environments.
THE AUDEL NIKA DESKTOP SYSTEM
At the centre of the setup is the updated Audel Nika loudspeaker, refined for close-range listening while maintaining the brand’s established design approach. The system is intended for users who already have a desktop computer, such as an iMac, and want to integrate a dedicated audio solution into their workspace.
The Audel Nika Desktop System includes a USB DAC and a 50 watt per channel amplifier at 8 ohms. Together these components provide a direct connection to a computer and are designed to offer detailed, balanced sound in a compact format suited to near-field listening.
SOUND OPTIMISATION AND ACCESSORIES
Audel has addressed the acoustic challenges of speaker placement on a desk surface. The Nika Desktop System can be paired with a selection of accessories designed to reduce vibration and improve stability. Users can choose a wooden clamp, suitable for desks up to 3.5 cm thick, equipped with an anti-vibration O-ring to isolate the speakers from the surface. Alternatively, a wooden base with spikes and nine anti-vibration O-rings is available for additional decoupling.
DESIGN AND FINISHES
The design of the Audel Nika Desktop System features the signature of Walter Carzan, continuing the brand’s distinctive aesthetic. The system will be available in Walnut, Burl Walnut, and Art Mosaico finishes, each reflecting the craftsmanship typical of Audel’s products.
