ADMD SYNTRA SYSTEM COMPLETE ADMD AUDIO SOLUTION UNVEILED
ADMD Audio has introduced the ADMD Syntra System, a unified home audio package built around the brand’s Line DAC and a matching pair of their active loudspeakers.
ADMD describes the ADMD Syntra System as an example of designing for synergy. Rather than combining components with differing design priorities, the DAC and active loudspeakers were developed in tandem, with engineering decisions made to support the performance of the system as a whole.

The ADMD Syntra System was previewed at Warsaw.

The Syntra System follows ADMD Audio’s minimalist design language, with smooth edges and understated styling. The visual approach reflects the company’s intention to deliver a coherent product family rather than standalone units.
ADMD LINE DAC TECHNOLOGY
At the centre of the ADMD Syntra System is the ADMD Audio Line DAC. It employs a fully discrete R-2R ladder conversion architecture, operating without oversampling or digital filtering. ADMD states that this approach is intended to offer an analogue-like character. The DAC incorporates a precision clock structure and uses hand-selected components.

ACTIVE LOUDSPEAKERS IN THE ADMD SYNTRA SYSTEM
The active loudspeakers supplied as part of the ADMD Syntra System use a bi-amplified configuration with an analogue crossover. Each loudspeaker delivers up to 300 W of power. The system has been engineered so that the loudspeakers and DAC operate as a matched pair, with the DAC’s output characteristics aligned to the speaker amplification and crossover design.
Pricing for the ADMD Syntra System is TBC
