Audeze Announces The LCD-1 Compact Reference Headphone

Audeze, the California based headphone manufacturer, has announced a new reference audio headphone, the Audeze LCD-1.

The LCD-1 headphone combines Audeze’s planar magnetic technology with a new lightweight foldable design. Handcrafted in California, USA, the LCD-1 has been engineered to provide” unmatched audio within a compact, travel-friendly package”.

Audeze LCD-1 Key Features

The LCD-1 features Audeze Patented Ultra-thin Uniforce™ diaphragms and Fluxor™ Magnets.The Planar Magnetic Drivers are 90mm Over-Ear Planar Drivers. LCD-1 is an Open Circumaural design headphone that also features Razor Wave Guides and has a compact, clean foldable design, weighing 250 grams. The light-weight construction with memory foam ear and headband is designed for extended comfort during long listening sessions. A 3.5mm premium braided cable and 1/4” adapter are included. They are designed and built in the USA with imported and US-made parts.
