Brand New Turntable From The Creators Of ‘The Wand’ Unipivot Tonearm
Last year, DBL’s ‘The Wand’ tonearm made its Bristol debut. This year it’s back, along with a just-launched turntable.
Developed by New Zealand-based company Design Build Listen (DBL), the‘The Wand’ unipivot tonearm is pared back in a number of ways and it has a large diameter, carbon-fibre arm tube which is cut off at a sharp angle.
Now, a brand new turntable is very much ‘hot off the press’, having only been previewed in prototype form at shows in Munich and Melbourne last year. Like ‘The Wand’ tonearm, the turntable sports many construction features, including a 14-inch (360mm) Smart Platter which gives 20% more inertia than a conventional platter of equivalent mass.
