Yoto Introduces Fourth Generation Screen Free Audio Players
Yoto has rebuilt its full-size Player and portable Mini for a fourth generation. The child-friendly audio players gain faster hardware, 64GB of storage and a Green Button that starts favourite audio without needing a Yoto Card.

Audio Without A Conventional Screen
Yoto has launched fourth-generation versions of the Yoto Player and Yoto Mini. Both are designed to let children choose stories, music, podcasts and other audio without using a phone or tablet screen.
Yoto Cards remain the main way to select content: inserting a card starts its audio. The new Green Button adds card-free access to favourites chosen by an adult in the Yoto app. Turning the button browses the selection and pressing it begins playback.
Green Button Playlists For Day And Night
Families can create separate daytime and nighttime lists, each containing up to 20 titles. These can include stories, songs, podcasts, radio stations, timers, sleep sounds and personal recordings.
Compatible content downloads to the player so it can work away from Wi-Fi, although live radio and some podcasts still require an internet connection. Each player includes one digital title, a reusable Make Your Own Card and stickers.
Faster Hardware And More Storage
Both models use a new processor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.1 and 64GB of storage. Yoto says this is enough for more than 1,000 hours of offline audio. The company also promises faster downloads, smoother setup and a two-year warranty.
The full-size Yoto Player 4th Gen has stereo speakers, USB-C and wireless charging, and a full-panel night light with seven colours. Its clock, night-light settings and audio can change with family routines during the day.
Yoto Mini 4th Gen is the smaller travel model. It has an IP67 dust- and water-resistance rating, USB-C charging and support for both Bluetooth and wired 3.5mm headphones.

Yoto Player 4th Gen costs $149.99, £119.99 or €129.99. Yoto Mini 4th Gen costs $109.99, £89.99 or €99.99. Estimated dispatch begins on September 30 for Yoto Mini 4th Gen and October 15 for Yoto Player 4th Gen.
