The Aventho Y uses 45mm drivers and supports the AAC and SBC Bluetooth codecs. Multipoint allows the headphones to remain connected to two compatible devices at the same time.

Active noise cancelling reduces steady outside sounds, while transparency mode allows more surrounding sound through when you need to hear an announcement or conversation.

Battery Life and Quick Charging

Beyerdynamic claims up to 60 hours of listening with noise cancelling switched on, increasing to 90 hours with it switched off.

A five-minute quick charge is said to provide up to six hours of listening. Actual battery life will vary with volume, connection conditions and the features being used.

Replaceable Parts and Accessories

The battery can be replaced by the user, while the ear pads attach magnetically and can also be changed. Beyerdynamic offers an optional wireless dongle and boom microphone for gaming or calls.

The Aventho Y costs £129 in the UK, €149 in Europe and $150 in the US, with several colour choices available.
