EVERSOLO DMP-A8 GEN 2 AND EVERSOLO DMP-A8 MASTER GEN 2 NOW AVAILABLE IN THE UK
Eversolo, has announced the immediate availability of the Eversolo DMP-A8 Gen 2 and Eversolo DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 through their UK distributor Decent Audio.
Both models combine network music playback, a high-resolution DAC and analogue preamplifier in a single component, with connections for digital and analogue sources.
EVERSOLO DMP-A8 GEN 2 AND EVERSOLO DMP-A8 MASTER GEN 2 STREAMING AND NETWORK MUSIC
The two models support Qobuz Connect, TIDAL Connect and Spotify Connect, alongside DLNA, and can access music stored on a home network or NAS. An optional internal SSD can provide up to 8TB of storage, allowing locally stored music collections to be used alongside streaming services.
Both A8 models use a separate AKM AK4191EQ digital processor and AK4499EX DAC architecture, supporting PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512. Their fully balanced analogue output stages use analogue-domain volume control, allowing the units to connect directly to a power amplifier or active speakers without a separate preamplifier.
EVERSOLO DMP-A8 MASTER GEN 2 ADDS CD PLAYBACK
The DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 adds a built-in CD playback system to the A8 platform. CDs can be played directly from the top of the chassis, with album information retrieved and displayed on the front-panel screen. The Master is therefore designed to bring CD playback together with streaming, downloaded music and local digital libraries.
The Master also features an OCXO and PLL clocking system, together with a 10MHz external clock input. This allows it to be connected to a compatible external clock as part of a digital system using a shared timing reference.
EVERSOLO DMP-A8 GEN 2 CONNECTIVITY
Both models feature a redesigned chassis and an 8.6-inch front-panel touchscreen, which provides access to music libraries, playback information and system controls. Display options include VU meters and spectrum analysers.
Connectivity includes USB Audio, AES/EBU, optical and coaxial digital inputs, alongside balanced XLR and single-ended RCA analogue outputs. HDMI ARC/eARC is included for TV audio, while Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth provide wireless connectivity. An SFP fibre network connection is also available.
A dedicated subwoofer output with adjustable crossover settings is also provided, allowing an active subwoofer to be connected directly to either A8 model.
ROOM CORRECTION AND PROCESSING
Both new models feature Eversolo’s evotune Pro room-correction system, which uses acoustic measurements and digital filtering to account for room and speaker-placement effects. The system also includes a 20-band parametric EQ and support for importing FIR filters for further adjustment.
The new A8 models use an eight-core processing platform with 8GB of memory and 64GB of internal storage. The increased processing capacity is intended to support browsing large music libraries, switching between applications and handling high-resolution music.

The Eversolo DMP-A8 Gen 2 and DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 are available now. Pricing is £1,949 for the DMP-A8 Gen 2 and £2,489 for the DMP-A8 Master Gen 2.
