SHANLING M0 PURA PORTABLE MUSIC PLAYER LAUNCHED WITH DUAL DACS AND EXPANDED CONNECTIVITY
The new Shanling M0 Pura is the fourth generation of its compact portable music player.
Weighing 35.8g, the new Shanling M0 Pura DAPl combines updated audio hardware with a touchscreen interface, wired and wireless playback options, and support for Hi-Res audio formats.
SHANLING M0 PURA DAP
The Shanling M0 Pura features dual Cirrus Logic CS43131 DACs and supports PCM playback up to 32-bit/384kHz as well as native DSD128. When used with Shanling’s optional 3.5mm to 4.4mm balanced adapter, the player can deliver up to 250mW of output power into a 32-ohm load.
SHANLING M0 PURA FEATURES AND CONNECTIVITY
A 1.54-inch colour touchscreen is paired with Shanling’s MTouch operating system, running on the Ingenic X1000 platform. The player supports two-way Bluetooth 5.0, allowing it to transmit audio to compatible headphones and speakers or receive audio from devices such as smartphones, laptops and games consoles, enabling it to function as a Bluetooth DAC and headphone amplifier.
USB-C connectivity allows the M0 Pura to operate as a USB DAC or as a digital transport for compatible external USB DACs.
MUSIC PLAYBACK AND STORAGE
The Shanling M0 Pura stores music on microSD cards with capacities of up to 2TB. It supports a wide range of audio formats including FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, APE, MP3, AAC, OGG and DSD.
Additional functions include adjustable playback speed for spoken-word content, A-B repeat, SyncLink remote control using the Eddict Player app for Android and iOS, sound customisation options and user-selectable screensavers. The player is supplied with a USB-C to USB-C cable and two screen protectors, while optional accessories include a leather case, clip case and a 3.5mm to 4.4mm balanced adapter.
SHANLING M0 PURA BATTERY
The player is fitted with a 650mAh battery, which Shanling states provides up to nine hours of continuous playback on a single charge and up to one month of standby time.
