Solidsteel UL Series Speaker Stands
SOLIDSTEEL UL SERIES REPLACES NS SERIES
Italian audio furniture manufacturer Solidsteel has announced the new Solidsteel UL Series speaker stands, a range designed to replace the company’s existing NS Series models.
The new stands use a structure based around two rectangular aluminium profiles mounted to a steel base plate, combined with hollow TPU frames and an MDF top plate.
SOLIDSTEEL UL SERIES FOCUSES ON MECHANICAL DAMPING
According to Solidsteel, the combination of aluminium profiles and TPU frames has been developed to improve mechanical damping between the loudspeaker and the stand structure. The design is also intended to provide decoupling between the vertical stand and the base section.
The company says the UL Series has been engineered to make the speaker stand part of the overall listening system, rather than simply functioning as a support.
SOLIDSTEEL UL SERIES MADE IN ITALY
The UL Series is designed and manufactured entirely in Italy and continues Solidsteel’s focus on performance-led engineering and industrial design for audio systems.
The launch models in the range are the UL-4 and UL-6 speaker stands.
