Grimm Audio PA1 Monoblock Amplifier At High End Vienna 2026
GRIMM AUDIO PA1 MONOBLOCK AMPLIFIER TO PREMIERE AT HIGH END VIENNA 2026
Dutch HiFi brand Grimm Audio will use High End Vienna 2026 to introduce the new Grimm Audio PA1 mono power amplifier.
The Grimm Audio PA1 Monoblock Amplifier has been in development for several years, with early prototype versions previously demonstrated alongside the company’s MU2 streaming DAC and preamplifier at the Munich High End show in 2023.
GRIMM AUDIO PA1 DEVELOPMENT STARTED WITH THE MU2
According to Grimm Audio, the original PA1 prototype was created during development work on the MU2. The company says it struggled to find a suitable amplifier for MU2 demonstrations and eventually used its own in-house design prototypes instead.
That early combination attracted attention during demonstrations in Munich and helped shape the direction of the final PA1 project. Grimm Audio says the production version has undergone further listening tests and circuit refinements since those first public demonstrations.
GRIMM PA1 MONOBLOCK DESIGN AND SYSTEM MATCHING
The PA1 is a dedicated monoblock power amplifier and has been styled by industrial designer Michiel Uylings, who also worked on the company’s MU1, MU2 and PW1 products.
For demonstrations in Vienna, Grimm Audio will partner the PA1 with the MU2, which will handle streaming, DAC and preamplifier duties. The company says the two products have been designed with system synergy in mind, forming a complete Grimm Audio playback chain.
