LEEMA ACOUSTICS 100 SERIES INTEGRATED AMPLIFIERS DEBUT AT BRISTOL HIFI SHOW 2026
Leema Acoustics is preparing to launch its new Leema Acoustics 100 Series, a range of integrated amplifiers and source electronics designed and manufactured in Wales. Visitors to the Bristol HiFi Show 2026 will be the first to hear them.
The initial line-up comprises four integrated models in black or silver finishes, offering both analogue-only and digital-equipped versions aimed at a broad range of HiFi systems.
LEEMA ACOUSTICS 100 SERIES AMPLIFIER DESIGN AND POWER
The Leema Acoustics 100 Series follows the company’s established amplifier design approach, focusing on control, low distortion and robust engineering. Each amplifier uses oversized heatsinks and a substantial toroidal transformer with dual secondary windings, supported by more than 27,200 μF of reservoir capacitance per channel. The i85 and i150 models employ multiple pairs of 15 A Toshiba output transistors to provide high current delivery and a high damping factor for loudspeaker control.
CONNECTIVITY AND ANALOGUE FEATURES
Across the Leema Acoustics 100 Series, the analogue preamplifier stage includes four RCA inputs and an onboard moving-magnet phono stage derived from the company’s Essentials Phono design. All models also feature preamplifier outputs, a stereo pair of subwoofer outputs, a record output and a 12 V trigger for integration with other Leema components. A supplied remote control offers assignable input shortcuts for ease of use.
DIGITAL OPTIONS
The “D” versions of the Leema Acoustics 100 Series integrate digital-to-analogue conversion using an ESS Sabre 9028Q2M DAC. Digital inputs include two coaxial, two optical and one USB connection, with USB handled by an XMOS XU208 receiver capable of processing up to 32-bit/384 kHz audio data. These models are intended for users who want a single-box solution combining amplification and digital playback.

The Leema Acoustics 100 Series launches with four models: the i85 (85 W per channel, analogue only, £1,710), iD85 (85 W per channel with DAC, £2,170), i150 (150 W per channel, analogue only, £2,600) and iD150 (150 W per channel with DAC, £3,040). All are Class A/B designs and share the same core construction and feature set.

Visitors will be able to see the Leema Acoustics 100 Series at the Bristol HiFi Show 2026, where the Welsh manufacturer will be exhibiting the new amplifiers as part of its show system in room 412 on the 4th floor.
