Kii Audio will be demonstrating the latest updates to its Kii SEVEN Active Loudspeakers at the Bristol HiFi Show 2026 this week.
We awarded the Kii SEVEN our Editor’s Choice Award when we reviewed them last year so we are looking forward to hearing them again with the updates.
KII SEVEN ACTIVE SPEAKERS SOFTWARE UPDATE DETAILS
Kii Audio has announced a significant DSP and firmware update for its Kii SEVEN active speakers. The update introduces wireless 24-bit/192kHz streaming between paired speakers, alongside support for Qobuz Connect, allowing direct playback from the Qobuz app without additional hardware.
The new functionality reflects Kii Audio’s continued focus on software-driven development. With streaming, amplification and DSP processing built into the Kii SEVEN active speakers, users require only a power connection and a streaming subscription to form a complete playback system, reducing the need for separate components and cabling.
ONGOING DSP AND FIRMWARE SUPPORT
Kii Audio has confirmed that the update is available to both existing and newly purchased Kii SEVEN active speakers. The company states that its products are designed to evolve through DSP and firmware enhancements, enabling feature updates and performance refinements without introducing replacement models.
KII SEVEN TITANIUM FINISH ADDED
Alongside the software update, Kii Audio has added a new Fine Touch Titanium finish to the Kii SEVEN active speakers. This joins the existing Fine Touch White and Fine Touch Dark Grey options, expanding the available aesthetic choices for the range.

The Kii SEVEN active speakers are available through selected audio retailers with a suggested retail price of £7,990 per pair in the UK.
