REL Acoustics will return to the Bristol HiFi Show 2026 with a demonstration centred on its Carbon Special line array and the newly launched Serie S subwoofers.
REL’s focus this year is on demonstrating how high-performance subwoofers can be integrated into a reference-level system while maintaining musical balance and coherence.
REL ACOUSTICS CARBON SPECIAL LINE ARRAY AND SERIE S IN A REFERENCE SYSTEM
The Carbon Special line array and new Serie S subwoofers will be presented as part of a carefully matched flagship system. REL has partnered with several established HiFi brands to assemble a system designed to show how subwoofers can support full-range loudspeakers without overwhelming the presentation. The aim is to demonstrate scale, control and low-frequency integration rather than sheer impact.
Amplification is provided by Hegel’s H30 power amplifier and P30 preamplifier, both making their first appearance at the Bristol HiFi Show. Loudspeakers are DALI’s Epikore 11 floorstanders, while digital sources include the Innuos Zenith Next-Gen streamer and an Esoteric CD transport. Cabling throughout the system comes from Chord Company, with power conditioning supplied by Puritan, including mains cabling. Equipment support is handled by a Montaudio Manuka rack.

REL staff will be present throughout the show to explain the system setup and answer questions. Demonstrations will focus on practical subwoofer integration, covering both subtle low-frequency reinforcement and more ambitious multi-subwoofer configurations. The sessions are intended to be informative, showing how subwoofers can be used effectively in systems of varying size and ambition, rather than simply adding more bass.
