AUDIO SHAMAN LAUNCHES UK AUDIO REPAIR AND SERVICING SERVICE FROM COHERENT SYSTEMS
Coherent Systems has announced the launch of Audio Shaman, a new UK-based service dedicated to the repair, servicing and upgrading of audio equipment.
The move follows several years of growing demand for repair and servicing work previously handled within Coherent Systems.
AUDIO SHAMAN FOR UK HI FI REPAIR AND SERVICING
Audio Shaman has been set up to serve the wider HiFi community, offering support for consumer audio electronics from entry-level components through to high-end equipment. The service focuses on maintaining and extending the working life of existing systems, helping owners restore performance and reliability without replacing their equipment.




The team told us that Audio Shaman is supported by a team of fully qualified engineers, including master’s-level specialists, with more than 160 years of combined experience. That background covers multiple engineering disciplines such as aerospace, power distribution, RF engineering, renewable energy and audio electronics.
AUDIO SHAMAN SERVICES AND WORKING PRACTICES
Audio Shaman will work on a wide range of products including amplifiers, CD players, reel-to-reel tape decks and turntables. Each job begins with a technical assessment that is discussed with the customer before work starts, with the aim of setting clear expectations around scope and outcomes.


AUDIO SHAMAN BRAND KNOWLEDGE AND FACILITIES
As part of Coherent Systems, Audio Shaman is linked to an organisation that acts as UK service agent for brands including Aurender, Boulder, Bel Canto, Belles, Gryphon, Oracle Audio and Plinius. The team also reports experience with products from Esoteric, Wadia, Nagra, Marantz, Arcam, Cyrus, Naim, Sansui and Akai. Servicing and diagnostics are carried out using modern test equipment from manufacturers such as Teledyne LeCroy, Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, Tektronix, Kikusui, Tekbox and Fluke.
