JOANNE SHAW TAYLOR BLACK & GOLD UK TOUR RETURNS IN JANUARY 2026

Joanne Shaw Taylor Black & Gold UK Tour

British blues and rock guitarist Joanne Shaw Taylor will return to UK stages this month with a short run of dates under the banner of the Joanne Shaw Taylor Black & Gold UK Tour, following her autumn 2025 tour.

The concerts coincide with her latest studio album Black & Gold, released in June 2025 via Journeyman Records

JOANNE SHAW TAYLOR BLACK & GOLD UK TOUR: FIVE UK DATES CONFIRMED

The Joanne Shaw Taylor Black & Gold UK Tour will take in five venues across England and Scotland. The tour opens at The Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh on Sunday 25th January, before moving to Buxton Opera House on Monday 26th January. Further dates follow at Blackpool Opera House on Wednesday 28th January, Sunderland’s Fire Station on Thursday 29th January, and Southend’s Palace Theatre on Friday 30th January 2026.

Joanne Shaw Taylor was discovered by Dave Stewart of Eurythmics at the age of 16 and has since built a career spanning more than 15 years. Her 2019 album Reckless Heart reached the UK Top 20, while The Blues Album topped the Billboard Blues Albums chart in 2021. She continues to release music through Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records label

JOANNE SHAW TAYLOR BLACK & GOLD UK TOUR AND THE NEW ALBUM

The tour supports Black & Gold, Joanne Shaw Taylor’s tenth studio album. Produced by Kevin Shirley, the record continues her exploration of blues-based songwriting while drawing on elements of rock, soul and pop. It has received strong critical attention across UK and international music press since its release.

UK TOUR SETLIST OVERVIEW

According to the tour announcement, shows on the Joanne Shaw Taylor Black & Gold UK Tour will focus on material from the new album, alongside selected tracks from earlier releases. These include songs from Heavy Soul, Nobody’s Fool and The Blues Album, as well as material drawn from her wider back catalogue dating back to White Sugar.
