NEW DALI SONIK LOUDSPEAKER SERIES LAUNCHES WITH SEVEN NEW MODELS
Danish HiFi brand DALI has announced the new DALI SONIK loudspeaker series, a new seven-model range designed for HiFi and home cinema use.
The line marks DALI’s most extensive introduction since OBERON in 2018 and is positioned to appeal both to established HiFi listeners and newcomers.
DALI SONIK LOUDSPEAKER SERIES
The DALI SONIK Loudspeaker Series includes two standmounts (SONIK 1 and SONIK 3), three floorstanders (SONIK 5, SONIK 7 and SONIK 9), and two home-cinema/on-wall solutions (SONIK ON-WALL and SONIK CINEMA). The range is intended to integrate into a wide variety of systems and room sizes, from compact stereo layouts to full-scale multichannel installations.
SONIK TECHNOLOGIES AND DESIGN
DALI highlights several engineering features across SONIK, including a newly developed 29mm soft dome tweeter and low-loss bass/midrange drivers. The SONIK 7 and SONIK 9 models also adopt the DALI Hybrid Tweeter System, combining dome and planar elements. Additional design details include dual flare bass reflex ports, updated cabinet construction, and an SMC Essential magnet system derived from higher-end DALI models.
SONIK PERFORMANCE AIMS
The company states that these technologies are intended to improve dispersion, reduce distortion, and increase clarity across the frequency range. Driver materials include DALI’s wood fibre and paper composite Clarity Cone™ design, used to support natural midrange output. Cabinet structures employ CNC-machined MDF with internal bracing and separate bass chambers.
DALI SONIK DESIGN AND FINISHES
All SONIK models incorporate new aluminium tweeter faceplates, magnetic grilles, and updated logos and terminals. Floorstanding models add aluminium spike outriggers. The range comes in four finishes: Black Ash, Walnut, Natural Oak, and White.
DALI SONIK LOUDSPEAKER SERIES MODELS
SONIK 1 and SONIK 3 are standmount speakers designed for smaller rooms or discreet placement. SONIK 5, SONIK 7 and SONIK 9 form the floorstanding line, rising in scale and output capability. SONIK ON-WALL and SONIK CINEMA offer a slim profile for home-cinema and placement-sensitive environments, with front-firing or on-wall bass porting.
