UNGNOI M SYSTEM CARBON FIBER HIFI RACK FROM HONG KONG
Hong Kong manufacturer ungnoi has introduced the Ungoi M System Carbon Fiber HiFi Rack, designed to provide a stable and vibration-controlled platform for audio components.
The design combines stainless steel and carbon fibre materials to minimise vibration and interference within HiFi systems.
UNGNOI M SYSTEM CARBON FIBER HIFI RACK
The M System uses precision-engineered, non-magnetic stainless steel. Ordinary stainless steel can be mildly magnetic, which may influence the performance of sensitive audio equipment, ungnoi tells us. To address this, ungnoi employs non-magnetic stainless steel that has been tested for consistency and stability. Each shelf incorporates UN M8 spikes to help isolate individual components from external vibrations.
VIBRATION REDUCTION AND STRUCTURAL DESIGN
The shelves in the M System are reinforced to reduce internal vibrations and resonances. The aim of this structure is to maintain mechanical stability and allow equipment to perform without interference from rack-borne movement or resonance. This approach reflects a growing focus among equipment manufacturers on isolation and vibration control as part of system design.
CARBON FIBER TECHNOLOGY
The M System also incorporates carbon fiber treated through high-temperature graphitisation. This process enhances the material’s structural integrity and electrical conductivity. According to ungnoi, the resulting 20-fiber carbon composite has improved electro wave shielding performance, helping the rack resist electromagnetic interference.
