AXXESS SWITCH NETWORK SWITCH LAUNCHED BY AUDIO GROUP DENMARK
Audio Group Denmark has introduced the Axxess Switch, a network switch designed for digital audio streaming systems.
The product is intended to offer stable data transmission and low electrical noise, and is part of the company’s wider Axxess series of audio components, which form the entry level into the Audio Group Denmark brand universe of Aavik, Ansuz, Børresen and Axxess.
AXXESS SWITCH DESIGN AND ENGINEERING
The Axxess Switch has been developed under the direction of Michael Børresen and Flemming Erik Rasmussen. The design places emphasis on controlling external noise and maintaining data signal integrity. The casing and internal layout have been engineered to minimise interference and vibration, supporting consistent network performance in a HiFi streaming environment.
AXXESS SWITCH NETWORK PERFORMANCE
According to Audio Group Denmark, the Axxess Switch is intended to work as the first stage in a digital audio chain, sitting between a router and streaming components. By focusing on stable network handling and reduced electrical noise transmission, it aims to help maintain clarity and coherence in streamed audio playback.
AXXESS TECHNOLOGY FOUNDATIONS
The Axxess Switch makes use of the company’s noise control and power handling approaches seen across the wider Axxess and Ansuz product ranges. Key design areas include power supply configuration, enclosure construction, and internal grounding layout. Each element of the switch is assembled to support signal cleanliness and reduce interference during network data transfer.
ENCLOSURE AND COMPONENT STRUCTURE
The enclosure is built with attention to resonance control, and internal component placement has been arranged to avoid unwanted vibration and electrical interaction. The power supply uses resonant-mode operation, intended to create a stable electrical environment for network signal handling.
PORTS AND CONNECTIVITY
The Axxess Switch features five RJ45 ports supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps network speeds. It is compatible with Cat5 or higher-rated Ethernet cables. LED indicators are included to show power and network activity status. The unit supports 100–240V AC mains power for international use.
AXXESS SWITCH SE VARIANT
A second model, the Axxess Switch SE, is also being released. This version incorporates two in-house Ansuz anti-aerial resonance coils designed to provide additional noise rejection. Aside from these additional components, the SE version shares the same architecture and connectivity features as the standard model.
PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS AND BUILD
Both Axxess Switch models weigh 6.65kg and measure 76 x 326 x 341 mm. The exterior presentation follows the minimalist Danish styling used across Audio Group Denmark’s product families, intended to fit easily within a range of domestic HiFi systems.
