KEF LAUNCH THE KEF CODA ALL IN ONE LOUDSPEAKER
KEF has announced the KEF Coda W, a new all-in-one speaker system inspired by the original Coda series.
The design aims to combine the accessibility and versatility of the classic range with modern features suited to both vinyl enthusiasts and wireless streaming listeners.
KEF CODA W AND THE UNI-Q DRIVER
The KEF Coda W is built around a 5.25-inch 12th Generation Uni-Q® driver array, KEF’s signature technology that places the tweeter at the acoustic centre of the midrange and bass cone.
Each speaker includes dedicated amplifiers for both tweeter and woofer, providing a combined system power of 200 watts. KEF’s Music Integrity Engine® (MIE) digital signal processing has been specifically tuned for Coda W to enhance timing, clarity, and overall performance.
WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY AND STREAMING
The KEF Coda W includes Bluetooth® 5.4 with support for aptX Adaptive™ and aptX Lossless™ codecs. These allow for high-quality, low-latency audio streaming, maintaining CD-quality sound (up to 16-bit/44.1kHz) over a wireless connection.
SUPPORT FOR VINYL PLAYBACK
The KEF Coda W features an integrated phono pre-amplifier, allowing direct connection to most turntables without additional components. It also supports RCA (LINE) input for turntables with a built-in preamp, offering flexibility depending on the listener’s setup. This makes it straightforward to enjoy both analogue and digital sources through a single system.
CONNECTIVITY AND SYSTEM INTEGRATION
The Coda W offers a range of input options for different devices and applications. HDMI ARC enables easy connection to a TV, while a USB Type-C port supports high-resolution computer audio playback up to 24-bit/192kHz. Optical and RCA inputs accommodate CD players, Blu-ray players, and games consoles.
A subwoofer output allows for integration with KEF subwoofers, and the optional KW1 wireless adapter provides the option of a wireless subwoofer connection.
CONTROL AND USER EXPERIENCE
The KEF Coda W includes simple top-panel controls for essential functions and source selection. The KEF Connect App provides additional options for configuration, EQ adjustment, and firmware updates, allowing users to manage the system from a smartphone or tablet.

The design of the Coda W follows a minimalist approach, with clean lines and understated detailing. It is available in five finishes, Vintage Burgundy, Nickel Grey, Moss Green, Midnight Blue, and Dark Titanium.
Each pair includes a 3-metre interspeaker cable, with an optional 8-metre C-Link cable available for flexible placement. The SQ1 Floor Stands can be purchased separately for elevated positioning.
