FiiO TINY DAC AND HEADPHONE AMPLIFIER LAUNCHES AS COMPACT SMARTPHONE UPGRADE
FiiO has released their SNOWSKY DAC and Headphone Amplifier, known as the FiiO TINY, a compact device designed to improve smartphone audio performance.
Intended for use with wired headphones and IEMs, the FiiO TINY aims to bring higher-quality playback to music streaming, gaming, and portable listening.
FIIO TINY PORTABLE DAC AND HEADPHONE AMP
The FiiO TINY features a full-metal body with CNC precision construction and a compact T-shaped plug-and-play design. Its side output is intended to reduce cable strain, while the one-piece build is made to support portability and everyday use.
The FiiO TINY DAC and Headphone Amplifier supports PCM up to 384 kHz / 32-bit and DSD256 decoding. It also includes in-line controls and microphone support, allowing users to continue using their headphones’ built-in remotes for calls and playback.
DSP CONTROL AND EQ ON THE FIIO TINY
The device includes a DSP chip with a 10-band parametric EQ, configurable via the FiiO Control app or a web interface. Custom EQ profiles can be created, saved, and shared through the cloud, giving listeners detailed control over tuning.
TWO EDITIONS OF THE FIIO TINY
The FiiO TINY is available in two versions. The TINY A includes both a 3.5 mm output and USB-C port, supporting audio playback while charging with fast charge capability up to 2 A / 20 V. The TINY B version offers 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm outputs, both of which can be used at the same time for shared listening.
FiiO has designed the TINY to be compatible with Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux. The device supports both UAC 2.0 and UAC 1.0 modes, which extends functionality to gaming consoles including Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.
Further details include Hi-Res Audio certification, an RGB sampling rate indicator, and lightweight construction. The device has been released with the intention of making wired headphone use with modern smartphones more practical and accessible.
