ATLAS CABLES ANNOUNCES NEW EOS SUPERIOR 2.5EM, HYPER DUO XLR, AILSA DUO INTERCONNECTS, AND ZENO SERAPHIC
Atlas Cables has announced several new product launches across its portfolio, expanding options for power delivery, interconnects, and headphone cabling.
Each is scheduled for release in September 2025. Atlas will also be appearing at the UK HiFi Show Live 2025 this weekend, at Ascot Racecourse Grandstand.
ATLAS EOS SUPERIOR 2.5EM POWER CABLE
The new Atlas Eos Superior 2.5em power cable has been engineered for today’s increasingly noisy mains environments. Wireless networks, Bluetooth devices, and spread-spectrum systems can raise background noise levels, and Atlas has focused on enhanced screening and low resistance design to address this.
The cable employs 2.5mm² oxygen-free copper conductors for large current handling, combined with stratified RF screening, including carbon-loaded and woven metallic layers. Dual-drain termination provides rapid earth discharge for induced RF, helping to maintain a low noise floor. Mechanical damping and stable dielectrics are used to minimise vibration-related artefacts.
Atlas offers the Eos Superior 2.5em with multiple termination options: UK 13A, Schuko, NEMA, and Aus/NZ plugs, with IEC C15 and C19 device ends. A hand-stitched titanium fabric finish is standard, with Luxe finishes available at additional cost.
ATLAS HYPER DUO XLR INTERCONNECTS
The Atlas Hyper Duo XLR interconnects introduce the new “Duo” symmetrical topology into the company’s Aspire-level range. Both hot and cold conductors are individually screened with woven OFC shielding and twisted in a precision lay, designed to improve rejection of electromagnetic interference.
Atlas states that this configuration provides stronger common-mode noise rejection, with the balanced architecture avoiding the need for an external grounding system. The conductors are paired with a wideband foamed polyethylene dielectric for signal speed, and connections are cold-welded using OFC pins for airtight integrity.
The Hyper Duo XLR is finished in dark fabric with dark chrome plugs and is available in lengths from 0.5m to 3.0m.
ATLAS AILSA DUO RCA AND XLR INTERCONNECTS
Sitting at the Aspire level, the Atlas Ailsa Duo range brings the Duo symmetrical conductor layout to both Ultra L RCA and OCC XLR terminations. Each conductor—hot and cold—is independently screened with woven OFC shielding, with both screens grounded externally via the Atlas Grun system for broadband noise removal.
The Ailsa Duo uses solid-core Ohno Continuous Cast copper conductors with a wideband foamed polyethylene dielectric. Precision twisting is applied to the conductor pair to reduce EMI effects and preserve timing and detail.
The finish is a titanium-grey fabric sleeve with dark chrome hardware. Standard lengths range from 0.5m to 3.0m, with custom options available on request.
ATLAS ZENO SERAPHIC HEADPHONE CABLE
The Atlas Zeno Seraphic is an upgrade-level headphone cable designed to deliver improved detail retrieval while reducing handling noise. It is intended as an aftermarket option for premium headphones, many of which are supplied with basic cables prioritising cost over performance.
The Zeno Seraphic uses OCC copper conductors and a wideband FEP dielectric, housed in a soft PVC inner liner and fabric jacket for comfort and durability. Terminations cover both portable and desktop applications, including Metik 3.5mm TRS, balanced TRRS (2.5mm, 3.5mm, 4.4mm), MMCX, 2.5mm mono, 3.5mm mono, and 4-pin mini-XLR.
Mechanically silent construction aims to prevent noise transfer from handling, and the cable is assembled in Scotland with a five-year warranty.
