The UK HiFi Show Live 2025 returns to Ascot Racecourse Grandstand on 27th–28th September, bringing together an impressive line-up of international brands.

HiFi PiG’s Oscar and Kelly will be reporting directly from the show floor to cover all the highlights.

TAKUMI DEBUT AT ASCOT

Takumi record players and cartridges will be on show at the UK HiFi Show Live 2025 in Ascot, with their new UK distributor, Sound Design Distribution. Visitors can learn more about the brand from Rik Stoet, the founder and designer of Takumi, who will be showcasing the Takumi 1.1 and 2.1DC turntables, along with the Dutch HiFi brand’s range of cartridges.

PS AUDIO PAUL MCGOWAN SIGNATURE 512 DAC AT ASCOT

Making a strong statement at the show, Signature Audio Systems will present the new PS Audio Paul McGowan Signature 512 DAC/preamp/streamer. This is the first PS Audio product to carry the founder’s name and converts all digital inputs into an 8x DSD stream before applying custom filtering and delivering a direct-coupled analogue output. Also on demonstration will be Matrix Audio’s TT-1 and NT-1 streamers, the Thorens TD 404 DD turntable, Canton’s GLE loudspeakers and amplification from Audio Group Denmark’s Aavik brand. Visitors can hear these systems in the spacious RARC South suite.

UNISON RESEARCH ABSOLUTE 845 SE IN KARMA AV ROOMS

Karma AV will showcase Italian valve artistry with the Unison Research Absolute 845 SE integrated amplifier. This dual-mono design uses a pair of 845 power triodes per channel and sits at the top of Unison’s range. The distributor’s rooms will also feature Swedish electronics from Primare, as well as loudspeakers from MoFi Electronics, SVS and Perlisten. Subwoofer enthusiasts should look out for the UK debut of the Perlisten D8is, which packs eight 200mm drivers in push-pull configuration with 3kW of DSP-controlled power.

KLIPSCH LA SCALA AL6 HORN LOUDSPEAKER WITH HENLEY AUDIO

Henley Audio will bring heavyweight heritage to Ascot with the Klipsch La Scala AL6 loudspeaker. Originally designed by Paul W. Klipsch in 1963, this horn-loaded three-way floorstander tips the scales at 93kg. It will be partnered with Musical Fidelity’s NuVista separates and a wide range of analogue front ends from Pro-Ject. Henley’s large Authority room on the second floor will also host demonstrations from Piega, Onkyo, Ortofon, WiiM and HiFi Rose.

EJ JORDAN LOUDSPEAKERS FIRST UK HIFI SHOW LIVE APPEARANCE

Adding a British voice to the mix, EJ Jordan Loudspeakers will make its first appearance at the UK HiFi Show Live. The company will demonstrate its flagship Kingsway loudspeaker, an elegant bipole design developed to integrate with room acoustics, alongside the latest version of its established Greenwich model. Both designs are built around the Eikona wideband drive unit created by the late loudspeaker pioneer Ted Jordan. Visitors can audition these distinctive designs in room 422.

WHERE TO HEAR THESE SYSTEMS

Show-goers will find PS Audio, Aavik, Matrix, Thorens and Canton in the RARC South suite; Unison Research, Primare, MoFi, SVS and Perlisten in the Karma AV rooms; Klipsch La Scala AL6, Musical Fidelity, Pro-Ject and more in Henley Audio’s large Authority room on the second floor; and EJ Jordan Loudspeakers with the Kingsway and Greenwich in room 422.
