DALI KUPID LOUDSPEAKER LAUNCHES AS ENTRY-LEVEL HIFI OPTION
DALI (Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries) has announced the release of the new DALI KUPID loudspeaker, a compact model designed to provide a straightforward introduction to HiFi.
The DALI KUPID aims to combine performance and ease of use in an affordable package, bringing the company’s design philosophies to a wider audience. Although positioned at entry-level, the KUPID has been developed using the same principles behind DALI’s high-end models, including the KORE and EPIKORE, and is both designed and engineered in Denmark.
DALI KUPID LOUDSPEAKER
The DALI KUPID loudspeaker is intended to fit easily into modern living spaces, with a footprint small enough to sit close to walls and in compact rooms. Textured magnetic grilles contribute to a clean aesthetic, while five finishes are available: Black Ash, Walnut, Caramel White, Golden Yellow, and Chilly Blue. Each option includes colour-matched cones and grilles to create a consistent look, whether the speaker is used as a subtle addition or as a more eye-catching feature.
Behind its appearance, the DALI KUPID uses a 4½-inch paper and wood fibre bass/midrange driver combined with a ferrite magnet system and a low-loss rubber surround. This is paired with a custom 26mm ultra-light soft dome tweeter, designed for seamless integration with the midrange driver and a balanced, natural soundstage. Supporting these drivers is a carefully tuned crossover network and a dual flare bass reflex port, developed to reduce unwanted resonances while allowing deeper bass extension than might be expected from such a compact design.
DALI KUPID LOUDSPEAKER SETUP OPTIONS
The DALI KUPID is designed with flexibility in mind, presenting a consistent impedance of over 4 ohms to ensure compatibility with a wide range of amplifiers, from affordable HiFi separates to modern all-in-one streaming systems. This makes it suitable for traditional stereo setups as well as more minimalist desktop systems. Wall brackets and rubber feet are included, giving users several placement options without additional accessories.
SIMPLICITY AT THE HEART OF DALI KUPID
Unlike ranges that feature multiple tiers or variants, the DALI KUPID follows a single-model, “keep it simple” philosophy. This makes it a straightforward option for those new to HiFi, while still incorporating many of the technical features associated with the brand’s more advanced loudspeakers. The approach reflects DALI’s focus on clarity, timing accuracy, and musical detail, presented in a speaker that is intended to be both easy to use and accessible.
AVAILABILITY AND PRICE OF DALI KUPID LOUDSPEAKER
The DALI KUPID loudspeaker will be available from 1st October 2025. Pricing is set at £299 per pair in the UK, or €169 per speaker (€338 per pair) in Europe.
