JMR LUCIA MKII IS A COMPACT SPEAKER WITH UPDATED DESIGN AND COMPONENTS
The Jean-Marie Reynaud JMR LUCIA MKII is an updated version of the compact LUCIA bookshelf loudspeaker from the French HiFi brand.
Designed for smaller spaces, it features a revised driver array, reworked crossover, and improved cabinet construction. It’s new satin black Woodscore finish aligns with the styling of JMR’s latest range.
JMR LUCIA MKII LOUDSPEAKER
The enclosure is built from 19 mm high-density MDF with rounded edges and acoustic felt. A front-facing laminar reflex port enables placement close to rear walls — around 10–15 cm — while maintaining controlled bass performance.

DRIVER UPDATES
The newly designed 13 cm mid/bass driver includes a treated paper cone, ventilated voice coil former, and dual magnet motor. It’s designed to provide improved control and clarity in the low and midrange.
A 25 mm textile dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet and tuned chamber handles high frequencies. It’s paired with a shallow waveguide to enhance dispersion while aiming to reduce listener fatigue.
PASSIVE CROSSOVER CONFIGURATION
The passive crossover uses symmetrical 12 dB/octave slopes at 3.5 kHz. It includes polypropylene capacitors and ferrite-core inductors. Internal wiring is pure copper, sized differently for each driver, intended to preserve signal integrity.
Suitable for rooms of small to medium size, the speaker is designed for flexibility in placement — from bookshelves to stands or desks. It does not require precise toe-in, and spacing between 1 and 2.5 metres is recommended.
