MARTEN COLTRANE SUPREME EXTREME TO MAKE WORLD PREMIERE AT HONG KONG HIGH END AV SHOW 2025
Following its static display at High End Munich 2025, Swedish loudspeaker manufacturer Marten will unveil its flagship loudspeaker, the Marten Coltrane Supreme Extreme, at the Hong Kong High End AV Show 2025.
Making its world premiere, this new model represents the company’s most ambitious project to date, showcasing advanced driver technology, distinctive materials, and an extensive focus on resonance control.
MARTEN COLTRANE SUPREME EXTREME LOUDSPEAKERS
The Marten Coltrane Supreme Extreme is a five-way, dual-tower system, with a separate bass enclosure designed to optimise dynamics and reduce unwanted resonance. The loudspeakers feature a seamless carbon fibre monocoque cabinet, reinforced with layers of solid wood and aluminium, offering both rigidity and acoustic transparency.
CUSTOM DIAMOND AND BERYLLIUM DRIVERS IN MARTEN COLTRANE SUPREME EXTREME
At the heart of the design are custom drivers including a 1” and a 3” pure diamond tweeter, alongside a 7” beryllium midrange driver—the largest of its kind to date. Four 8” Crystalid mid-bass drivers handle punch and precision, while five 10” aluminium sandwich bass units, supported by ten passive radiators, deliver low-frequency performance with control and scale.
MARTEN COLTRANE SUPREME EXTREME FEATURES FIRST-ORDER CROSSOVER AND JORMA CABLING
A proprietary first-order crossover ensures time and phase coherence throughout the frequency range. Signal integrity is maintained using Jorma Paragon internal wiring and bespoke Marten terminals. The loudspeakers are mounted on stainless steel stands, equipped with upgraded Marten Isolators to eliminate mechanical resonance from the floor up.
FINISHES AND PRICING FOR MARTEN COLTRANE SUPREME EXTREME
The Coltrane Supreme Extreme will be available in four matte wood finishes: Walnut, Cherry, Maple, and Oak. The retail price is set at €950,000 per pair. Each speaker system requires over 800 hours of hand assembly, reflecting the level of craftsmanship and engineering involved.
FUNG NING AUDIO AND MARTEN AT HONG KONG HIGH END AV SHOW 2025
The Marten Coltrane Supreme Extreme will be on demonstration in Fung Ning Audio’s room on the 4th floor of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Chancellor Room (君爵廳), from 8th to 10th August 2025. HiFi PiG’s owners, Stuart and Linette, will be attending the show again and reporting directly from the event. Visitors can expect to experience one of the most ambitious HiFi systems ever assembled in Hong Kong.
Fung Ning Audio will present the Marten Coltrane Supreme Extreme as part of an ultra high-end system that includes the Goldmund Mimesis Reference preamplifier and 4800 power amplifiers, Wadax Reference digital source, and TechDAS Air Force Zero turntable for analogue playback. The system also features the HSE ML7 phono amplifier, an Artesania rack, and cabling and power delivery from Jorma.

HONG KONG HIGH END AV SHOW 2025 INFO
First launched in 2003, the Hong Kong High-End AV Head-Fi Show has grown into the largest event of its kind in Asia. It attracts international participation from Japan, Korea, Europe, the US, and China, catering to industry professionals and audiophiles alike.
TICKETS AND OPENING HOURS
The exhibition will be open to the public from 10 am to 7 pm on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th August, and from 10 am to 6 pm on Sunday 10th August.
Admission tickets are priced at HKD 100. Each ticket includes a hybrid SACD, The Perfect Sound 2025, compiled by Audiotechnique.
