HiFi PiG CHECKS OUT THE NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK AT HIGH ND MUNICH 2025

High End Munich 2025 Start-Ups Stand

For as long as HiFi PiG has been attending High End Munich we have been supporting the new brands on the Start-Ups Stande at the show, and this year is no different.

Each year the High End Society picks four or five new brands and gives them a boost with a complimentary exhibition space, to make their debut on the world’s stage.

We have seen many brands start here, and the great thing is lots of them are now fully fledged exhibitors with stands and rooms at the show.

This year there were four new brands, with an interesting mix of technology, modern and more traditional HiFi, so read on to meet the High End Munich 2025 Start-Ups, please click on their banners to find out more from their websites and if you see something you like, then get in touch with them…join HiFi PiG in helping the next generation of HiFi and Audio brands!

VALORTIVA

At High End Munich 2025, Valortiva introduced itself as a fresh and inclusive voice in the HiFi world, aiming to make high-quality sound accessible to everyone—not just seasoned audiophiles. Founded by three friends, including Howard Chen who presented the brand at the show, who share a deep passion for music, the company presented its flagship product, the Octa A1 integrated amplifier, a refined embodiment of their philosophy: combining elegant design, timeless craftsmanship, and user-friendly sophistication. Also teasing their upcoming Aura series, Valortiva positioned itself as a brand dedicated to enhancing everyday life through exceptional sound, whether for artists, creatives, or casual music lovers. Their presence in the Start-Up Area underscored their role as an emerging innovator redefining what premium audio means in a modern context.

I was particularly impressed with the very striking designs, achieved at very affordable prices, proving a distinctive brand identity is not just achievable by big budget brands, I imagine we will hear a lot more about Valortiva in the future.

LOUTD

At Munich 2025, Juergen Seidler and the LOUDT team showcased Musegg, their inaugural audio system designed for discerning, design-conscious music lovers. This fully active system is finely tuned to accommodate individual listening preferences and lifestyles. Central to its innovation is the Remote.Fitting service—a proprietary cloud-based platform enabling audio specialists to tailor the sound profile precisely to the user’s taste. Housed in a reusable flight case, Musegg is set up and operational within just six minutes. With a flexible subscription model starting at €99 per month, it caters not only to affluent audiophiles but also to curious enthusiasts seeking fresh experiences and adaptability in their HiFi choices.

I was very taken with the tactile design and clean lines of the speakers, and they were attracting a lot of attention from the public and HiFi dealers and distributors, a “lifestyle” product with HiFi credentials, I can see the LOUDT Musegg proving popular, especially with the plans for a more compact version in the works too.

TACTILE TONE

At High End Munich 2025, Alexander Sibiryakov  presented his Tactile Tone Precision Preamplifier—an analogue, mechanical preamp that blends vintage charm with contemporary engineering. Styled with a distinctly 1980s aesthetic, its design features harmoniously balanced controls and a deep grey chassis that integrates seamlessly into modern living spaces. Technically, the unit is built around meticulously engineered electronics, with a low noise floor of just 15 µV RMS and calibrated control elements for exacting performance. With versatile connectivity options including XLR, subwoofer, and trigger outputs, the Precision Preamplifier merges classic form with modern functionality for HiFi fans.

The Tactile Tone Precision Preamplifier was very well made with great attention to the design and execution, it combined the best of retro aesthetics with modern tech, Alex told me it was designed to bridge the gap between vintage and modern HiFi and it did this very well, with final pricing TBC we can guess it will be well priced too, watch this space for more info.

CONFORMALLY

At this year’s Munich, Joschka Paulsen and Conformally showcased its advanced expertise in the development and application of highly conformal, organic thin-film coatings. These ultra-thin layers are tailored for diverse fields such as sensor technology, medical devices, and microelectronics, where they are increasingly displacing traditional coating solutions. Of particular note was Conformally’s focus on high-precision electret coatings that are entirely free from PFAS, the so-called “forever chemicals,” aligning with growing environmental and regulatory demands. By offering collaborative product development to interested firms, Conformally positioned itself as a forward-thinking partner in next-generation material science.

Currently, Josh and his team are working in the area of pro audio, with solutions catering to the production of microphones, but there is a lot of what they are doing that is very applicable in modern HiFi production. I can see them being a strong player in the industry and would expect to see them in the IPS part of the High End Show in the future.
