TONAR 70TH ANNIVERSARY
Founded in 1954 by Canadian pilot Wilf Libgott, Tonar began as a supplier of synthetic sapphire products for industrial users, including bearings for watches and gas meters. However, the company soon transitioned into the world of phonograph cartridges when it began supplying sapphire tips for record players. Over the decades, Tonar has evolved into a key player in the global vinyl market, offering over 3000 replacement needles and more than 1500 different types of phonograph cartridges. Their products cater to a wide variety of turntables, from modern HiFi setups to vintage players and jukeboxes.
