E.A.T. E-GLO II PHONO STAGE ARRIVES IN UK
Henley Audio has announced the UK release of the European Audio Team E.A.T. E-Glo II phono stage, a hybrid tube phono stage designed to enhance vinyl playback for both moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges.

The E.A.T. E-Glo II phonostage features an all-valve design, using four ECC83 and two ECC88 tubes. These are paired with a fully balanced input stage, incorporating a Lundahl LL1932 step-up transformer for 45dB of gain and improved audio quality. A split, fully passive equalisation stage helps to reduce noise and provide greater gain flexibility than many all-valve phono stages.
To cater to various cartridge setups, the unit offers adjustable capacitance for MM cartridges and continuous resistance adjustment for MC cartridges. Premium components, including Mundorf and WIMA capacitors, are used throughout to ensure high performance and reliability.
The phono stage is powered by an external double-shielded toroidal transformer to minimise interference and deliver clean power. Additional noise-reducing measures, such as high-quality resistors and capacitors, further improve operational quietness.
Housed in a sleek aluminium chassis with design touches inspired by reel-to-reel tape decks, the E-Glo II stands out visually. Front-mounted switches allow for quick adjustments without needing to access internal components. A customisable LED lighting system adds a personal touch to the presentation.
