Rega Nd7 MM Cartridge
RANGE FLAGSHIP REGA ND7 MM CARTRIDGE LAUNCHED
Following the recent launches of the Nd3 and Nd5, Rega has introduced the range flagship Rega Nd7 MM cartridge.
The Rega Nd7 MM cartridge is the new flagship and final model of this new range of handmade moving magnets from the British HiFi brand, Rega.

Previewed at the Bristol show in February, the Rega Nd7 MM cartridge will also be offered factory-fitted to the Planar 6 and Planar 8 turntables at a discounted rate compared to purchased separately. REGA ND7 MM CARTRIDGE
The Nd7 aluminium cantilever is fitted with a precision ‘Fine Line nude diamond’ stylus. This complex profile is designed to provide tracking accuracy. The ‘Fine Line’ profile is usually reserved for Rega’s high-end Apheta3 and Aphelion 2 moving coil designs.
The Nd7 is easily identified by its clear yellow cover.
NEODYMIUM N55 MAGNET
Like the Nd3 and Nd5 models, the Nd7 cartridge utilises a Neodymium N55 magnet. This is the world’s most powerful commercially available magnet and is a crucial component that makes this design possible by providing more power than standard bar magnet designs, says Rega.
NEW GENERATOR GEOMETRY
This all-new construction was developed over 10 years and promises to deliver ‘next level’ performance from moving magnet technology. Each Nd7 is handmade by Rega technicians. The design uses a brand-new generator geometry with perfect symmetry to achieve accurate channel balance. The Nd7 also has an optimised pole gap.
PARALLEL COILS
This new cartridge is created with miniaturised parallel coils which are wound in-house, utilising 38-micron wire with just 1275 turns. This produces a low inductance, low impedance generator giving improved high frequency response and a, claim Rega, a wider soundstage.
In keeping Rega’s commitment to sustainability, the Nd range is supplied in 100% recyclable packaging.
