Markaudio CHR-90 Full Range Driver Released

Markaudio Loudspeakers are continuing to release brand new drivers at pace, in answer to a need for more budget offerings they have released the CHR-90 full range driver.

Full Range Driver

The CHR-90 is an affordable all-new Full-Range multi-purpose drive unit suitable for use in a variety of medium size loudspeakers applications, or as part of a multiway system. Without abandoning the full-range point-source purist application, Mark Fenlon has been able to produce a driver that is equally as happy as a mid-range driver usable in 3 way designs supported by a larger woofer or as a mid-bass in smaller 2 way speakers.

New Chassis Design

The CHR-90 chassis is an all-new design, dedicated to this driver. All moving parts (powertrain) are also new and custom made for this driver. Much work has been done to make the CHR-90 a close bedfellow to the more expensive Alpair 10 driver where Mark and the team learned much. Years of research has allowed a trickle-down effect of the advantages of the more expensive driver into this budget package.
