Rega have launched a new version of their Brio integrated amplifier. They say: “The Brio has a completely new case to house its improved circuits and parts. It now sits in a fully aluminium two-part case which boosts the Brio’s heat sinking capabilities and improves on Rega’s already solid build quality and reliability”.

McIntosh Group has announced that Filippo Fanton has been named the new CEO of Sonus faber effective immediately. Fanton has served as the CFO of Sonus faber for the last eight years and will continue to hold that position as well until further notice.

Chord Electronics’ Adds USB Input To Blu MkII CD

Chord Electronics has added a high-resolution USB Type-B input to its CES-unveiled Blu MkII upscaling CD transport. The USB input takes the place of the optical output seen on the prototype at CES and has been implemented following dealer demand for Blu MkII’s upscaling technology to be available to a wider range of digital devices.

Harbeth To Demo 40th Anniversary Model At Sound & Vision Bristol 2017

British loudspeaker company, Harbeth, will again exhibit at this year’s Sound & Vision Bristol show in two adjacent rooms. The SHL5plus in walnut, one of the brand’s 40th Anniversary models, will be on demo in a classical music focused room, whilst next door, the P3ESR will showcase a more contemporary sound.
