Noise Master Buds Open Add Bose-Tuned Sound To Open-Ear Earbuds
Noise has introduced the Master Buds Open, a pair of open-ear wireless earbuds using Sound by Bose technology. They are designed for listeners who want music without completely blocking the outside world, which can be useful while walking, working or travelling.
The earbuds cost ₹7,999 in India and use a light C-shaped design that clips around each ear. Noise claims up to 28 hours of total listening with the charging case, plus app controls, dual-device pairing and four microphones for calls.

How Open-Ear Listening Works
Normal in-ear earbuds seal the ear canal with silicone tips. The Master Buds Open sit outside it and aim sound towards the ear instead. That lets more traffic, announcements and conversation remain audible while music is playing.
The trade-off is that open-ear designs usually isolate less noise and may leak more sound at high volume. They are better suited to awareness and comfort than shutting out a busy train or aircraft cabin.

What Sound By Bose Means
Noise says the earbuds use Sound by Bose technology, with the tuning intended to balance bass, midrange and treble. Each earpiece contains a 10.8mm dynamic driver. A driver is the tiny moving part that turns the electrical music signal into sound.
Dynamic EQ adjusts the sound as listening conditions change, and the Noise Audio app offers different equaliser modes. An equaliser, often shortened to EQ, lets you change the balance of bass, middle and high frequencies.
Calls, Controls And Battery
Four microphones work with environmental noise cancellation and a neural-network system to reduce background sound during calls. This is call processing, not active noise cancellation for music, so it should not be confused with the quietening effect found on sealed ANC headphones.
The earbuds weigh 5.5g each and support tap controls that can be customised in the app. Dual pairing lets them stay connected to two devices, such as a phone and laptop, without reconnecting every time. Noise quotes up to 28 hours of total battery life when the charging case is included.
What The Buds Leave Out
Open-ear earbuds do not create a private seal, so deep bass and detail can change with fit and background noise. They are also only IPX4-rated, which means protection from sweat and light splashes rather than swimming or full water immersion.
The product page also promotes spatial audio and AI features through the Noise Audio app. Those extras may be useful, but the main buying decision should be whether an open fit is more important to you than strong isolation.
The Master Buds Open are affordable enough to be a realistic first step beyond basic bundled earbuds. Their open design also solves a real everyday problem: hearing music while staying aware of what is happening nearby.
They are not the only way to get better sound, and listeners who mainly use headphones in noisy places may prefer a sealed model. For walking, study spaces and mixed phone-and-laptop use, though, the combination of light weight, dual pairing and long total battery life is easy to understand.
