Roberts Revere Systems Put Radio CD And Streaming In One Box
Not every first HiFi system needs separate components. Roberts has introduced three Revere models that combine speakers, radio and everyday connections in one cabinet, with the larger versions adding CD playback and internet streaming.
The range starts at £249.99 and is designed for listeners who want something straightforward enough for a kitchen, bedroom or study but more flexible than a basic Bluetooth speaker.

Six equaliser presets and a custom My EQ setting allow basic sound adjustment. At 274mm wide, it is the most compact member of the family.
Revere 300 Adds CD Playback
The £399.99 Revere 300 adds a slot-loading CD player, including support for MP3 CDs. USB playback and charging are also included, along with a remote control. Its pair of 3-inch drivers and rear bass port are designed to produce a fuller sound than the smaller model.
For a beginner with an existing CD collection, this is the middle option that avoids the cost and cabling of a separate disc player.
Revere 500 Adds WiFi And Streaming
The £599.99 Revere 500 is the most complete version. It adds WiFi and Ethernet, internet radio, Spotify Connect, Deezer and control through the Oktiv app. It also keeps CD, USB and Bluetooth playback.
A four-driver system combines two 2.5-inch full-range units with two 3.5-inch woofers. Room-placement profiles help adjust the sound according to where the cabinet sits, which is useful when a system has to share a shelf or sideboard.
Why An All In One System Can Make Sense
Separate HiFi components offer more freedom to upgrade one part at a time. An all-in-one system trades some of that flexibility for fewer cables, simpler setup and a smaller footprint.
