Majority Launches Fitzwilliam HiFi Range and Quadriga Maxi
Majority has launched four new products for people who want to play CDs, stream music and listen to radio without building an overly complicated system.
Three of them make up the new Fitzwilliam range of full-width HiFi separates. The Quadriga Maxi takes a different approach by putting the electronics and speakers into one box.

What can they play?
All three Fitzwilliam models support Spotify Connect with Spotify Lossless, Bluetooth, internet radio, podcasts, DAB+, FM radio and MP3 playback from a USB drive.
The Fitzwilliam CD is designed to add CD playback and streaming to equipment you already own. It has analogue, optical and coaxial outputs, giving you several ways to connect it to an amplifier or powered speakers.
The Fitzwilliam AMP leaves out the CD player but contains the amplifier needed to drive passive speakers. It also has analogue and digital inputs for connecting other equipment, including a television or separate CD player.
The Fitzwilliam CD AMP puts the amplifier and CD player together. For somebody building a new system, this is the simplest of the three Fitzwilliam options because the only essential extra is a pair of passive speakers.
All three can be operated using their front-panel controls, supplied remote control or the OKTIV app.
The all-in-one option
The Quadriga Maxi is the choice for anyone who doesn’t want separate speakers. Its 200W, 2.1-channel system uses two full-range drivers and a built-in bass woofer.
It includes a CD player, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth, internet radio, podcasts, DAB+, FM and USB playback. Optical, RCA and 3.5mm inputs allow other equipment to be connected later.
